So Far, So Queasy

I am 5 weeks, 6 days pregnant.  The reality of it is starting to hit me!  The exhaustion, queasiness and constant need to "eat a little something" are constant reminders that there's a baby growing in here... Particularly the cravings for Thai sweet and sour as well as potatoes in any form - mashed, roasted or fries will do :).

Here's what has transpired since I received my BFP a couple weeks ago.  I obsessively followed my at-home testing to make sure the results were getting stronger and stronger.  Success on that front!

Dr. Delaney took two of my beta hcg and progesterone measurements to ensure they were rising appropriately, and the results were excellent!
2/22, 14dpo, beta = 442 and progesterone over 40
2/24, 16dpo, beta = 974 and progesterone over 40

With 2 great results, Dr. Delaney advised we avoid any further testing until the early OB scan at 6 weeks.  We are scheduled for that on Thursday, March 9.  Fingers and toes crossed that we have a successful heartbeat!! Both times we have seen a heartbeat at 6 weeks, we successfully carried Ryleigh and Elizabeth, so we are praying for the same this time around.  If Thursday is a success, we need to start thinking about creative announcement ideas for our extended family.
